Frequently Asked Questions
What Is an Employer of Record?
An employer of record (EOR) is organization that is responsible for the legal and compliance obligations (and often the paperwork) that comes with employment while your business retains operational oversight of your workers. While many companies utilize an EOR for their long-term employees, WorkShift allows you to take advantage of an EOR to employ a diverse range of gig workers on a shift-by-shift basis, helping you scale your workforce to match your evolving labor needs.
What If A WorkShift Employee Doesn’t Show?
Our team is consistently monitoring the time sheets to ensure our employee portals are filled with people who will be where they say that are going to be, when they say they are going to be there. In the event that an employee no-shows a shift, you have the capability, through the online WorkShift portal, to remove that employee from your pool of employees, so they are unable to accept shifts at your work location in the future.
Why Do I Need To Schedule A Demo?
At WorkShift, we understand that each business has unique needs when it comes to hiring and employing people who can help drive excellent business results. By scheduling a demo, we’ll be able to help you fully understand the power of the WorkShift model, while also gaining valuable insight into your business’ needs. This will give us the ability to confidently build a WorkShift portal filled with excellent, pre-screened employees who have the skills and experiences to succeed in your business.
When Will I Be Charged For The Hours Worked By WorkShift Employees?
The WorkShift pay period is from every Monday 12:00am until Sunday 11:59pm. Workers have until every Sunday at midnight to request changes to their hours worked during that week, and employers will have until Monday.
